An influential story I have acquired is the story of Manon Rheaume. Manon Rheaume is female Canadian hockey player from Quebec City. She was the first female to play in the national hockey league. She, like me, is a goalie. Her story is inspiring to me because I too want to play in the NHL when I grow up. My dad got me her autobiography for Christmas, Alone In Front Of The Net, which is how i heard of and learned her story.
