My name is Sean hurley and this story was very inspirational to me and many others as well. Travis Roy was someone who devoted his life to the game of hockey and his dream was to play college or professional hockey. In his first season at Boston University he hadn't stepped on the ice until a playoff game. In the first 11 seconds into the game Travis went to hit an opposing player and ended up paralyzing himself. Travis is now a motivational speaker who encourages young athletes to do their best not only in sports, but also in school. This story was very important to me because it showed me to never  take anything for granted because Travis's accident happened within the first 11 seconds of his shift.
